Morpheus8: Collagen production decreases as you age, leading to saggy skin, stretch marks, wrinkles, deep lines, nasolabial folds, and other natural signs of aging.

At Evoque Aesthetics, we provide an advanced skin-tightening technology called Morpheus8 to reduce saggy skin, stretch marks, wrinkles, lines and nasolabial folds. This new advanced skin-tightening treatment gives your skin a smoother, tighter, and more youthful appearance.

It works by combining microneedling and radiofrequency waves to stimulate collagen production within multiple skin layers. It also uses radiofrequency thermal energy to restructure the skin.

How does Morpheus8 works?

This is an advanced skin-tightening treatment device that combines microneedling and radiofrequency waves to provide enhanced skin-tightening results.

It involves the use of the Morpheus8 device to create micro-wounds on the out layer of the skin while also delivering radiofrequency waves into the deeper layers of the skin. The micro-wounds stimulate collagen production on the skin surface by activating the natural healing process while the radiofrequency waves stimulate collagen and elastin production in the deeper layers of the skin.

Why Morpheus8 is more effective than other devices

The Morpheus8 device has tiny needles that create tiny wounds on the skin surface and simultaneously emit radiofrequency waves through the tiny wounds into the deeper layers of the skin.

When microneedling and radiofrequency waves are combined, they provide a better and enhanced skin-tightening effect, resulting in smoother, tighter, and more youthful-looking skin than what only microneedling or radiofrequency treatment can provide.

Ideal areas to treat and target

Morpheus8 is used to treat and target saggy skin areas such as:

  • Under chin

  • Jowls

  • Nasolabial folds

  • Neck bands

  • Bags under the eyes

  • Fold skin on the knees, arms, and abdomen

  • Fold skin around the mouth

  • Deep wrinkles and lines on various parts of the face

What does the Morpheus8 Procedure involve?

Prior to Treatment

  • Before your treatment, there are certain preparatory instructions to follow.

  • Stop taking blood-thinning medications, supplements and products such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, flax oil, fish oil, vitamin A, and vitamin E a week before your treatment.

  • Stop taking alcohol and caffeine for at least a week before your treatment.

  • Stop smoking for at least a week before your treatment.

  • If you have excess hair on the treatment area, shave them off the night prior to your treatment.

  • Avoid sun-tanning, spray tans, tanning lotions, and tanning beds for 4 weeks prior to your treatment.

  • Avoid treatments that may irritate your skin such as waxing, depilatories, etc for 1-2 weeks prior to your treatment.

  • Do not apply makeup on the day of your treatment.

  • Inform your provider of the medications and supplements that you’re currently taking and have previously taken.

  • If you have a history of herpes or cold sores, you may need to take an anti-viral prescription medication prior to your treatment.

  • Use Alastin Invasive System 7-14 days prior to your treatment.

During the Treatment

Radiofrequency microneedling is an outpatient treatment. The treatment follows a few simple steps.

First, the treatment area will be cleaned and a topical numbing cream applied to prevent pain and make you feel comfortable throughout the treatment.

Next, the radiofrequency device with tiny needles of various depths will be placed against your skin and glided over your skin. The device creates micro-wounds on the outer layer of your skin while also delivering radiofrequency waves into the deep layers of your skin.

The treatment can be completed in 60-90 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area.

Post-treatment Care

There is no downtime after having Morpheus8 treatment. You may experience minimal swelling and bruising. Ice packs may be applied to your skin to relieve swelling and bruising. You can return home and continue with your normal daily activities.
