It enhances specific areas of your body by reducing or removing stubborn pockets of fat from those areas. You can contour different areas of your body such as your belly and flanks, buttocks, arms, back, thighs, neck, and chin.

WHY IS BODY SCULPTING USED?

Body sculpting can be used to;

  • Improve the shape and appearance of your body
  • Get rid of extra skin
  • Reduce loose and saggy skin
  • Improve or reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines
  • Provides a more defined and shaped body
  • Reduce weight in specific areas of your body

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BODY CONTOURING IN HOUSTON, TX?

There are 4 different types or methods to contour your body. These include:

1. Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis involves using extremely cold or freezing temperatures to target and destroy fat cells in specific areas of your body.

Fat cells have a low tolerance for extreme cold and freezing temperatures. Fat cells are broken down and destroyed when fat tissue is frozen. The destroyed fat cells are then naturally flushed out from the body.

Cryolipolysis works by removing stubborn fat cells from the body by freezing them. Extremely cold and freezing temperatures target and kill fat cells. The dead fat cells are then naturally flushed out of your body.

Cryolipolysis may provide some immediate changes after a single treatment. The dead fat cells are flushed out of the body over time. Best results will be seen after several months when all the dead fats are flushed out completely.

2. Laser Lipolysis

Laser lipolysis involves using laser energy to heat and destroys fat cells in specific areas of your body. High temperature from a laser device is used to destroy or kill fat cells. The dead fat cells are flushed out naturally from your body.

3. Radiofrequency Lipolysis

In radiofrequency lipolysis, controlled radiofrequency heat is used to target and kill fat cells in specific areas of your body. A device that emits radiofrequency heat is used to kill fat cells in specific areas of your body. The dead fat cells are flushed out naturally from your body.

4. Injection Lipolysis

In injection lipolysis, a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid is used to target and kill fat cells in specific areas of your body. Deoxycholic acid is produced naturally by the body and it absorbs fat. The synthetic form of deoxycholic acid is used to kill fat cells which are then metabolized gradually by your body.

1. What happens during Cryolipolysis?

During cryolipolysis procedure, the area to be treated is outlined. A gel will be applied to the treatment area to protect the skin during the treatment. A handheld device known as an applicator that emits very low temperature will be placed on your skin around the treatment area. The extremely low temperature from the device will be used to freeze the layer of fat cells underneath the skin and destroy them.

The device will be removed after the treatment is completed and the area will be massaged for 2 to 3 minutes. The treated area is massaged to assist with the breakdown of the fat cells.

2. What happens during Laser lipolysis?

3. What happens during Radiofrequency lipolysis?

Radiofrequency lipolysis is similar to laser lipolysis. A radiofrequency device that emits radiofrequency device that emits heat is placed on the skin around the treatment area. The heat penetrates the skin and kills fat cells.

4. What happens during Injection lipolysis?

Injection lipolysis involves the use of a chemical to kill fat cells. A synthetic form of deoxycholic acid is used to target and kill fat cells.

The area where the injection will be given will be marked. Before the injection is given, local anesthesia may be injected into the treatment area. The anesthesia prevents you from feeling pain. A few minutes will be given for the anesthesia to take effect. The chemical will then be injected into the treatment area. The chemical disrupts and kills fat cells.
